Mission
The mission of the International Bureau for Investment and Development is to develop high-potential projects, to mobilise the financial, technical and partnership resources required for their implementation, and to facilitate their access to appropriate investment mechanisms. The BIID works to enhance the quality, sustainability and attractiveness of initiatives, whilst ensuring they meet the requirements of investors, financial institutions and development partners.

BIID’s vision is to consolidate its position as a leading international platform for structuring and mobilising investment for development. It aims to bring capital, expertise and high-impact projects together on a sustainable basis, prioritising investments that combine economic performance, social inclusion, institutional resilience and environmental sustainability.
